Positioned at the heart of the energy transformation, Metaltech AB has successfully completed the 4.1 MWp Solar Power Plant project in the town of Gătaia, Timiș region, Romania, adding a significant investment to its portfolio. Built on environmental responsibility, advanced technological infrastructure, and a strong sustainability focus, this next-generation energy investment not only supports regional development but also delivers a powerful contribution to clean energy production.
🔍 Project Details
Location: Timiș / Gătaia, Romania
Status: Completed Project
Installed Capacity: 4.1 MWp
Number of Solar Panels: 6,307 high-efficiency panels
The plant has been constructed on a spacious site with high solar exposure and favorable topographical conditions. The system architecture was optimized according to local climate conditions to ensure maximum performance and long-term efficiency.
☀️ Strong Energy Capacity
The power plant generates approximately 5,900 MWh of electricity annually. This production capacity is sufficient to meet the yearly energy needs of around 2,400 households. In addition, the system prevents an estimated 3,600 tons of carbon emissions from entering the atmosphere each year, providing a measurable environmental benefit.
🏗️ Durable System, Smart Technology
The project incorporates high-strength aluminum mounting structures designed to withstand harsh weather conditions while minimizing long-term maintenance costs. A remotely accessible monitoring infrastructure enables real-time performance tracking across the entire system.
👥 Local Development and Social Value
Throughout the project, Metaltech AB prioritized local employment in Gătaia, involving community members in both installation and maintenance phases. As a result, the project has generated not only energy, but also knowledge, experience, and economic value, contributing positively to regional growth.
🌍 A Vision Realized
