Situated in the scenic west of Romania, in the Caraș-Severin / Forotic region known for its natural beauty and environmental harmony, the 4.2 MWp Solar Power Plant has been successfully completed by Metaltech AB. This investment represents more than an energy project — it stands as a strong contribution to sustainable development through environmental, economic, and technological advancement.
🔍 Project Details
Location: Caraș-Severin / Forotic, Romania
Status: Completed Project
Total Installed Capacity: 4.2 MWp
Number of Panels: 6,462 high-efficiency solar panels
The region’s high solar potential, flat terrain, and accessible infrastructure make it an ideal location for clean energy development. Engineered by Metaltech AB, the plant is now operational as a regional driver of the energy transition.
🌿 Clean Energy in Harmony with Nature
The plant generates approximately 6,100 MWh of electricity annually, enough to meet the energy needs of around 2,500 households. Additionally, the system prevents about 3,700 tons of CO₂ emissions each year, delivering long-term environmental benefits.
🏗️ Robust Infrastructure for Long-Term Performance
All panels are mounted on high-durability aluminum structures designed to withstand harsh weather conditions while maintaining low maintenance requirements. Integrated smart monitoring systems enable real-time production tracking, minimizing performance losses and maximizing operational efficiency.
👥 Socioeconomic Value and Local Engagement
Local labor participation was prioritized throughout the project, creating employment opportunities and supporting regional economic development. Environmental, economic, and social benefits were achieved simultaneously through this investment.
🌍 Metaltech AB: Powering the Future of Energy
