With a total installed capacity of 3.5 MWp and equipped with 5,385 high-efficiency photovoltaic panels, the plant is expected to generate millions of kilowatt-hours of clean energy annually upon completion.

The project design has been optimized by considering local climate conditions, land structure, and solar exposure. The selection of panels, inverter architecture, and connection infrastructure have all been planned with the dual goals of maximum efficiency and long-term durability. Our engineering operations on site are progressing in a way that directly contributes to the region’s energy demands. This project will not only enhance energy supply security but will also significantly reduce carbon emissions and contribute to environmental sustainability.

Every panel used in the project holds environmentally friendly production certifications, and all installation procedures are managed in accordance with international quality standards. Additionally, the system is equipped with infrastructure that supports future energy storage investments, ensuring that the plant can meet not only today’s but also tomorrow’s energy needs.

The Buzău / Pogoanele SPP stands as a testament to Metaltech AB’s engineering strength and project management expertise, while also playing a vital role in advancing renewable energy development in Romania. Once operational, the project is expected to prevent approximately 5,000 tons of CO₂ emissions per year — a figure that not only represents a major environmental gain but also aligns closely with global sustainable development goals.
